Find your next adventure with the Silver Line. Your next trip is closer than you think. The Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) Silver Line began service on October 25, 2025, connecting seven cities in North Dallas. The 26-mile route runs through Plano, Richardson, Dallas, Addison, Carrollton, Coppell, and Grapevine, linking directly to Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (DFW). The new commuter rail makes it easier to travel to work, school, or the airport. It is an affordable and convenient way to get around.

The Silver Line is more than just a means of transportation. It let’s people enjoy culture, history, and entertainment. Riders can explore each city and visit local shops, restaurants, and attractions.

The Silver Line has 10 stations connecting North Dallas to DFW Airport. In Plano, you will find Shiloh Road and 12th Street stations, about an hour from the airport, with ample parking. Shiloh Road Station is in Plano’s business area and features a design inspired by the nearby businesses, including colorful art and a large electrical plug sculpture reminiscent of a nearby power station. Just a few blocks from Plano’s bustling downtown, 12th Street Station connects the Silver Line with DART’s Orange and Red Lines. Nearby, you’ll find shops, restaurants, and historic sites, including the Douglas Community, North Texas’s oldest African American neighborhood, illustrating how Plano’s history connects with its modern, accessible future.

Located near the intersection of President George Bush Turnpike and US 75, the CityLine/Bush Station provides easy access to the nearby CityLine area and connects to DART trains going to Plano and Dallas on the Orange and Red Lines. CityLine is a vibrant area with many dining, shopping, and entertainment options. You can also visit Fox Creek Park and take advantage of walking and biking trails that connect to the Cotton Belt Regional Trail.

On the north side of the UT Dallas campus, the new UT Dallas Station offers students convenient access to destinations across the region via the Silver Line. With more than 31,000 students from 100 countries, the connection to DFW Airport makes travel even easier. The university also plans to develop new residential, shopping, and dining options near the station.

Addison Station is within walking distance of restaurants, parks, entertainment, and offices, making it easy to get to work or enjoy leisure time. Adjacent to the Addison Transit Center, the station connects riders to Carrollton, Dallas, Plano, and Richardson by train or bus. From Addison Station, it takes 32 minutes to reach DFW Airport Terminal B and 27 minutes to get to Shiloh Road Station in Plano. The station offers 300 parking spaces.

Knoll Trail Station is located in the heart of the North Dallas business district, just a short walk from apartments and office buildings. It serves as a drop-off and pick-up point with very limited parking and is one of only two Silver Line stations in Dallas. The station is less than half a mile from the Village on the Parkway shopping center and Addison Circle Park, both accessible via the nearby Cotton Belt Regional Trail. From here, it takes 35 minutes to reach DFW Airport Terminal B and 24 minutes to reach Shiloh Road Station in Plano.

Located near historic downtown Carrollton and easily accessible from I-35, Downtown Carrollton Station will be an important hub for the area. Along with the DART Green Line and future DCTA A-Train stations, the Silver Line station will be a key connection point for travelers going to Denton, Plano, Dallas, and Fort Worth. Downtown Carrollton offers restaurants, shopping, services, walking and biking trails, and various housing options. The downtown square is also a popular venue for city festivals and celebrations.
